Description
The Chemglass AF-0070-03 Schlenk Airfree Adapter, Style A, is a specialized borosilicate glass component designed to establish and maintain an inert or air-free environment within a chemical apparatus, typically on a Schlenk line. This adapter features a 15 mm O-ring joint, which ensures a secure and greaseless seal when used with a compatible #116 Viton O-ring (usually supplied with the adapter). The opposite end of the adapter is a straight glass connection with a 3/4 inch (approximately 19 mm) outer diameter, designed to directly connect to other standard glassware or heavy-wall rubber vacuum tubing. These “Style A” adapters are part of the AF-0070 series, intended for use with Chemglass AF-0060 through AF-0062 vacuum manifolds, allowing for versatile connections for various air-sensitive manipulations.
