Description
The Thermo Scientific Nalgene 2210-0130 is a heavy-duty 50 L (13 gallon) round carboy designed for the long-term storage and transport of reagents, distilled water, and other laboratory solutions. Fabricated from low-density polyethylene (LDPE), it offers a more flexible and impact-resistant alternative to high-density containers while maintaining excellent chemical compatibility. A key structural feature is the integration of wide molded-in shoulder handles, specifically designed to allow for comfortable carrying and pouring even when using thick laboratory gloves. The body of the container includes molded-in graduations in both 5-liter and 1-gallon increments for easy volume estimation. The carboy is equipped with a large 83B (83 mm) screw closure made of white polypropylene, which ensures a leakproof seal for secure transportation.
