WHEATON® Sample Vials, 40mL or 1.35oz, Amber, 24-400 Finish with PTFE /Silicone, liner, Type I Borosilicate Glass (40 mL Sample Vial Glass Amber, PTFE/ Silicone Liner) These vials are ideal for use in water sampling according to EPA 40 CFR 136, “Guidelines for Establishing Test Procedures for the Analysis of Pollutants.” The Clear vials are manufactured from 33 low extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I and ASTM E- 438 Type I, Class A requirements, and the amber vials are manufactured from 320 amber glass that conforms to USP Type I requirements to protect light-sensitive samples and to maintain purity of its contents. All vials are packaged in convenient trays which facilitates handling.
