The IKA RCT Basic (RCT Basic S1) is a high-performance magnetic stirrer with integrated heating, engineered for safety, durability, and precise control in demanding laboratory environments. Featuring a highly polished aluminum alloy setup plate, it ensures optimum heat transfer for volumes up to 20 liters. This digital unit offers independent control of speed and temperature via intuitive turning knobs. Included in this package is a 18-inch support stand, providing the necessary infrastructure for mounting temperature sensors or stabilizing glass assemblies during high-speed stirring or heating operations.

Technical Performance and Design

• Aluminum Alloy Setup Plate: The Ø 135 mm polished aluminum plate provides exceptionally fast heat-up times and uniform thermal distribution across the entire surface.

• Integrated Safety Technology: Features an adjustable safety circuit (50–360°C) and a “Hot Top” indicator that remains active even when the unit is switched off to prevent accidental burns.

• Powerful Stirring Capacity: Driven by a maintenance-free EC motor, the unit handles quantities up to 20L (H2O) with a speed range of 50 to 1,500 RPM, maintaining strong magnetic adhesion even at high viscosities.

• External Temperature Control: Equipped with a DIN 12878 bushing for connecting contact thermometers (e.g., ETS-D5) or PT 1000 sensors, enabling direct temperature measurement and regulation within the medium.
