The Nautilus Systems PL100i-EP Adhesive Component Applicator, manufactured in 2021, is a pre-owned unit designed for precise placement of die-cut adhesive components. It accommodates components up to 100 x 100mm with an impressive accuracy of +/- 0.035mm. The applicator is equipped with a closed-loop feedback system for enhanced material travel monitoring and correct feed location verification. It is tailored for integration into automated assembly lines, featuring a pneumatic precision-guided Tamp actuator, Payoff assembly, and powered Takeup assembly. The Custom Component Tooling (CCT) allows for rapid changeover without tools, ensuring flexibility and efficiency. The unit includes a 16-key Applicator Interface Module with an LCD display for operator input. Please note that testing was limited due to the absence of a power supply and pinpad.
