Description

PlastiMount – Mounting Medium, 100 mL. This product is a fast drying, organic solvent (Toluene) based acrylic polymer for permanent mounting of tissue specimens stained with most biological dyes. In addition, this product may be used in immunohistochemical procedures with chromogen substrates such as DAB or Permanent Red. PlastiMount is designed to be optically clear (RI = 1.48), with a refractive index close to that of fixed protein. Lower viscosity makes this product easy to use. PlastiMount will not discolor, crack, or lose its adhesive properties with age.
