Description
The Ace Glass 9297-05 West Condenser is a type of laboratory glassware designed to cool and condense hot vapors back into liquid form, primarily used during distillation and reflux setups. This design features a very narrow inner tube surrounded by a slightly wider outer water jacket. The condenser includes 2 Hose Barbs on the outer jacket. These barbed fittings are used to connect flexible tubing for the circulation of a coolant through the outer jacket. The West condenser is widely used in organic chemistry with uses such as reflux condensing and distillation.
