Zinc Chloride, Granular, Technical is a colorless, hygroscopic chemical compound that is commonly used in the textile industry, as a metallurgical flux and in organic synthesis among other applications. It has the ability to dissolve starch and cellulose as well as silk and can be applied to fabric as a fireproofing agent. Technical grade products supplied by Spectrum are indicative of a grade suitable for general industrial use.
