Hot Plate – Digital Variable Speed Reciprocal Shaker

Description

The Hotplate Shaker E6360 is powered by a 1/17 hp Bodine DC motor which drives the platform through a filtered SCR controller. The speed is continuously variable between a range of 20-240 osc/min. and incorporates a 10”x16” aluminum hotplate within the box carrier. The heater is controlled by a three-position switch on the front of the shaker, delivering 360 W at a LOW position, 720 W at MEDIUM, and 1440 W at HIGH (approx. mean temps are 310 F, 540 F, and 710 F respectively). NOTE: Use of the hotplate requires a power receptacle capable of delivering a minimum of 15 amps at 115 volts.

*All machine speeds are dependent on the machine load capacity charts. Machine load capacity charts are general estimations and are dependent on the specific application. Container geometry, fill level, and liquid viscosity can all affect the machine’s load capacity.

Machine load capacity charts show machine operational speeds vs. machine load in weight. The load’s center of gravity also needs to be taken into consideration. Always place containers in such a way as to balance the load in the center of the carrier.
