Steam (Hydro) distillation is a special type of distillation for temperature sensitive materials, like aromatic compounds. This process of separating a component or substances from a liquid mixture by selective evaporation and condensation. Kit includes 9 Pieces : 1 – 250ml Round bottom Boiling Flask Two Necks, 1 – Still head plain, 1 – Liebig Condenser, 1 – Receiver adapter delivery, 1 – Dropping Funnel 100 ml with Stopper, and 4 joint Clips 19/26. All joints sizes are 19/26 on pieces. All pieces are made of high quality borosilicate glass 3.3. Clamps, Stand, Thermometer or Bunsen Burner are not included with this kit.
Eisco Labs Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.
