p-Dimethylaminobenzaldehyde Solution, 1.8%, for Hydrazine, Nickel. ASTM D1385-07. UN2924. p-Dimethylaminobenzaldehyde solution is used as an indicator for hydrazine and nickel, reacting with hydrazine to form a yellow-colored product, p-dimethylaminobenzaldazine, and can be used for spectrophotometric determination of hydrazine.
