5.9″ Petri Dish, Borosilicate Glass, .75″ Depth. This large petri dish measures 5.9″ and has a .75″ depth. It boasts a 1/8″ thickness, making it durable for many lab application over a long period of time. Borosilicate glass can withstand wet or dry repeated sterilization. The edges are beaded to provide greater mechanical strength.
Autoclavable, with superior chemical durability. Low temperature gradient- can withstand high temperatures & thermal shocks. Borosilicate glass has the following heat tolerances: Strain Point -515°C | Annealing Point 565°C | Softening Point 820°C.
