5 Position Manual Microscope Nosepiece is designed as a component for a compound or stereo microscope. This is the rotating turret located on the microscope head, just above the objective lenses and below the stage. The user physically rotates the turret by hand to click the desired objective lens into the optical path. The primary function of the nosepiece is to ensure the mounted objective lenses are precisely aligned so the image remains in focus and centered when switching magnification powers.
