Nalgene Lightweight LLDPE (low density polyethylene) Tanks with installed spigots are an economical solution for less rigorous applications.
These low density polyethylene (LLDPE) tanks offer excellent resistance to stress cracking and have the same characteristics as Nalgene 54100 tank series with a spigot installed for draw off. Available in sizes ranging from 10L to 208L.
- Approximate wall thickness: 0.09 in. (2.4mm)
- Equipped with Nalgene Needle Spigot (Cat. No. 96423) for dispensing
- Not autoclavable
Manufacturer recommends that all tanks used at elevated temperatures or with high specific gravity liquids be externally supported.
Caution: Plastic tanks are generally subject to more severe conditions that plastic labware; exposure is constant, stresses are greater and different classes and concentrations of chemicals are involved. Please pay special attention to chemical compatibility.
