Description
Enhance cell attachment to the culture surface with the extracellular matrix coating on Thermo Scientific™ Nunc™ Poly-D-Lysine or Collagen I Coated Multidishes, ideal for culturing fastidious cells that do not attach to the regular cell culture-treated surfaces.
Features:
- Aseptically manufactured
- Collagen Type I is from rat tail tendon
Collagen I
Collagen is the most abundant protein in mammals and a key structural component of several tissues. Collagen type I is the most commonly used extracellular matrix (ECM) protein for cell culture, facilitating cell attachment, growth, differentiation, migration, and tissue morphogenesis.
Collagen I, Rat Tail, is available in a coated multidish ready to use format with no preparation time. The plates are coated with Gibco™ Collagen I and can be stored at room temperature for a maximum shelf life of 12 months. Collagen I plates are available as a case of 20 plates with 5 plates per vacuum sealed foil pack with a desiccant. Coating is done in a highly controlled, aseptic manufacturing environment that ensures lot-to-lot consistency and reproducibility. Each lot is tested to help ensure we meet these standards.
Precoated plates save time & labor costs while increasing productivity and allowing you to focus on performing experiments. To meet all your application needs, Collagen I coating comes in a wide variety of formats – 6 well plate, 96-well clear plate, 96 well black-walled imaging plate, 96-well white-walled imaging plate, T25, T75 and T175 flasks. Collagen I coated products are commonly used to culture endothelial cells, hepatocytes (human and rat), muscle cells, and a variety of other cell types.
