Utilizing Pall’s proprietary Supor® EKV technology, this filter features an asymmetric double-layer PES membrane (0.2 µm rated) that provides exceptional flow rates and superior total throughput compared to standard symmetric membranes. The built-in 0.65 µm pre-filter layer protects the final 0.2 µm membrane from premature fouling, making it particularly effective for nutrient-rich cell culture media, complex buffers, and biological intermediates. As a “G” series model, this capsule is constructed from materials validated for gamma-irradiation, ensuring mechanical and chemical integrity when integrated into single-use manifolds.
