50mL porcelain Gooch crucibles have a perforated bottom and include covers. Crucibles are glazed on inner and outer surfaces except for the outside bottom and rim. Used for determination of total suspended solids.
- Autoclavable
- Thermal Shock Resistant: average coefficient of expansion from 20°C to 200°C is 3.56 x 10-5, gradually increasing to 4.69 x 10-5 at 1050°C
- Glaze: no softening occurs up to 1000°C
- Bright white color
- Porcelain
- Withstands temperatures to 1150°C
- Resistant to acids and alkalis (except for hydrofluoric acid.)
- Every batch of porcelain is heat tested in our factory
