Replacement Filter for Drum Safety Clamps, Solid Filter, for Lock-Out, Tag-Out. This filter is used when you want to store a chemical drum that has been opened and the opening needs to be closed or re-sealed. This insert is used in conjunction with a Drum Lock Safety Clamp and Drum Seal Tags, and can be used when you want to seal off a bung opening completely but also need to lock it and record a serial number.

All of our filters are resistant to all chemicals that can be stored safely in a plastic drum.* Made of closed cell, cross-linked plastizote LDPE, the filters can withstand a pH range from 1-13. The advanced polymerization of this insert provides optimum chemical resistance. Check Chemical Compatibility

It is recommended to replace the filter every 6 months, or when deterioration of the filter is present.

*None of our drum clamps are safe for use with chemicals that are only stored in metal drums, such as fuels, hydrocarbons, etc. Such chemicals are generally not safe for use with plastics.
