Stirring Shaft, 10mm, Chem-Stir, 100mL-5L Flasks, 468mm OAL, Complete with PTFE Nut and Bolt. Eliminates Flask Breakage: PTFE is the only contact in the lower radius of the flask, therefore breakage due to dropping the stirrer shaft has been eliminated. Eliminates the Frustration of Assembly: Unique design permits the proper amount of tension to be applied to the blade, thereby preventing the blade from flipping over to the incorrect side during insertion into the flask. Special PTFE blades are not required. Design permits use with any PTFE stirrer blade with the keyhole shaped cutout for 10mm or 19mm shafts. Available in both Ground and Polished styles. A 10mm OD stirrer shaft with our patented** Chem-Stir blade attachment system. Shaft (C) has been manufactured with a ring at the lower end to permit attachment of the blade (B) with a PTFE nut (D) and bolt (A). Shaft is supplied complete with PTFE nut and bolt.
